Get the time out, score, and that’s how you overcome a terrible day by your qb and some boneheaded play calling by your OC that doesn’t target two all star tight ends over the middle due to PSU having their starting safety out in the first half due to targeting, which he was doing all second half. I was more talking about Kirk's body of work on offense when we can lay an egg any given day, any given year. Lots of mistakes by lots of players, but how the hell is any win or loss not on the CEO of Iowa football aka the head coach. His job is to get his players and team to play to their best and execute. We failed at that all day.

CFP talk was ridiculous, today proved it. They tried to give it to us and if offense was just bad instead of awful we probably win. Is what it is....I certainly don't get my hopes up prematurely after watching the last 20 yrs, especially last 9
