Abakarov has 31000 pts so I don't know how he could seeded 2nd

Actually, looking at this I don't think this is the bracket, is it? It's just the list of the guys who will be in the bracket. The numbers next to their names are from the Flo international rankings.

Yes, this is definitely not the bracket. On UWW, the athletes are listed in order of their country alphabetically.

Just looked it up. Abdullaev will slide into the 8th seed with Uguev out. It will be:

1. Micic
2. Higuchi
3. Harutyunyan
4. Kartbay
5. Abakarov
6. Aman
7. Zou
8. Abdullaev

The rest will be randomly drawn in. I'm not sure when the draw happens. Possibly day before based on how they usually do this.

I believe so. He's earned the points. I'm not aware of any stipulation that you lose your points as an alternate.
