How? They call it frequently today. How does adding an extra point make it any more subjective than it already is?

AND-1 now applies to wrestling - and I love it. Wrestlers on the shot clock with give up 1 if they don't score after 30 seconds, even if the opponent scores...AND if you flee a hold and step out it's 1 AND-1. I really like these changes.

In addition, if you get injured while on your back, they'll award the fall. Lastly, they will seed up to the top 8 now in an effort to have more balanced brackets (it's about damn time!).

The link below summarizes the changes in a little more detail - looks like the OPs link has fallen off the page due to updated Yarygin results. It's crazy to me that UWW as an organization can evaluate the sport worldwide and make changes to improve it on a faster timeline than the NCAA rules committee seems to. The changes were effective immediately.
