At Louisville??

Since when does a certain university get preferential treatment in its
'Recruiting' practices??

As I recall, the Univ of Wisconsin received sanctions for not stopping a shoe discount.

And Univ of Iowa was warned about having Ashton Kutcher at a practice.

Chirp.........chirp........chirp......... / Oh wait, those gals were just escorts, right?

The NCAA has an unofficial second set of standard for universities (UNC) that are cash cows or employ cash cows (Rick Pitino). Too bad because I really liked him....even after he knocked up his assistant's girlfriend and he paid for her to have an abortion I can't remember all the details but it was sordid and inexcusable). Never mind, I don't like him. But he's a hell of a coach and has given me much enjoyment over the years with his teams. My favorite game ever was Duke vs Kentucky in the NCAA's in '91 IIRC. I used to watch Hawkeye basketball a little here and there before that but never really understood the game...but the drama of that game held me transfixed and I've never looked back. So I have him to thank for my love of college basketball but wow, what a morally shallow person. Not that I'm perfect...I'm just sayin'.

To paraphrase the great philosopher Jerry Tarkanian: The NCAA is so mad at Louisville they'll give Cleveland State two more years of probation.

That is a great quote. And NC will get off with a hand slap. KY won't even be investigated in spite of Cal's AND KY track record. LSU pays well Shaq says...Dirty program in a state of dirty politicians. Life isn't fair. That's why you pull for the good guys, that hopefully are doing it the right way

Unc should have had their entire athletic department get the death penalty for at least a year or two for all the sh!t they pulled

Going to be a lot of purple faces if you're going to hold your breath waiting for the NCAA to take on big boys. I'm still amazed they dared to go after Saint Boeheim. Still bet they give him his victories back eventually. These coaches are such special guys. Just ask the commentators on ESPN.
