The brackets should be out by Friday. Basically any country can compete. Any National Federation affiliated to the UWW.
There was a ranking series event a week ago, which drew a lot of the higher ranked wrestlers. The Olympics are close as well. There most likely won’t be a lot of top ranked talent at the event.
Last year the brackets were small. Real Woods got 2nd in a 4 man bracket. This will be a great experience for COBE. Hopefully he brings home some hardware.

For those watching or knowlegeable about his opponents, does he look pretty good, competition just weak, or some of both?
Cobes first match was 8 minutes into the Mat B stream. His second match will be about 2.5 hours in the Mat A stream.
Third match starts at 2 hours 18 minutes into Mat B ends in a quick 10. Fourth match start 4 hours 32 minutes into Mat B and ends in a tech.
It wasn't elite competition. I liked seeing Cobe attack the leg, though. Looks like he's been practicing the sweep single to the left leg. It's a good one to add to his attacks. Even if he doesn't score off it, he can easily slide up into a body lock. Puts him right into a position that he's super comfortable in.

The Italians probably thought they were going to go right through this skinny kid; ma no. Skill, positioning and leverage. Plus, Brandon Sorenson was in his corner.
