Slightly OT: Thoughts on PWL - iowa mention

This is somewhat OT, but I read this article and would love to hear some of your thoughts on it...perhaps a little ahead of its time for the US still, but I was fascinated with the setup and this league's success in India. Other interesting takeaways, I'm quite intrigued by the element of having mixed-gender teams and I think that could generate interest; I also like the draft/auction set up with teams having a fixed overhead.

PWL - would it work in Iowa?

I watched Adeline Gray's matches and found the crowds interesting. The TV shots showed an enthusiastic group of fans of all ages and both genders. I think last April's AGON V gives you a good idea of what the top end attendance would be like for such a league in Iowa.
