That is how Wayne Allyn Root accurately describes Nevada Republicans, who as of this year control ALL the state elected offices. They won this political monopoly with the usual Reaganesque promises of limiting government, cutting taxes, etc.
Instead, as soon as they gained power they imposed THE BIGGEST TAX INCREASE IN NEVADA STATE HISTORY with a huge tax on business REVENUES — not profits. Thus, a business with say, $100,000 in annual sales revenue, but $150,000 in payroll and other expenses, will be taxed on its $50,000 LOSS.
Keep this in mind the next time someone tells you it is your “duty” to vote. Your choice is between lying, conniving, welfare statists and warmongers (Republicans) and Marxist ideologues who would like to destroy capitalism and confiscate and redistribute all of everyone’s wealth (Democrats).
