Who woulda ever guessed that one of the hottest live music venues in the entire Midwest would be in friggin' East Moline. Sean Moeller is a miracle worker.

My working theory is all these bands have discovered Quad City style pizza.I just ponied up over $400 for TOOL tickets last Friday. I might have to drop some more cash this week. Also, I just heard that Tenacious D will be coming to the Adler Theater.
My theory was similar, but with more of an "OP's Mom" line of thinking. My working theory is all these bands have discovered Quad City style pizza.
Wait a minute! You travel for work? I thought we had just the one guy here on HROT who does that. Does @The Tradition know about this?Dang I’ll be Boston for work that week.
should be a crazy show
You present that shit to a Jack Black and this happensMy working theory is all these bands have discovered Quad City style pizza.

You saw them at The Mark?I saw them 20 some years ago in Moline. I much prefer smaller venues. I don’t have fond memories of the show.
You saw them at The Mark?
The Rust Belt is much, much smaller.
Thanks. Looks like they have some interesting bands on this years schedule.
They get a super eclectic mix of bands. I've seen 3 shows there so far - it's pretty cool.Thanks. Looks like they have some interesting bands on this years schedule.

BTW, I see Quiet Riot is playing and one of the openers is Blackfoot. I wonder if that's the same Blackfoot I saw in 1977?They get a super eclectic mix of bands. I've seen 3 shows there so far - it's pretty cool.

The immediate problem I noticed with the venue (other than six domestic dollar tall boys) was how narrow and long it was (giggity). If you're in the back and happen to be a shorter person, I would imagine you couldn't see the stage very well for a busy show. It's too bad it couldn't have some sort of levels or slant to it (not sure if that would even be possible). Regardless the place is really awesome. The lighting effects are VERY impressive as well
Anyone ever seen a show at Codfish Hallow?
Thanks. Looks like they have some interesting bands on this years schedule.
I saw Ted Nugent at the 5 in 1977. Bill was ted with Blackfoot and "special guest". The special guest was the Scorpions and they were awesome.Quiet Riot and Blackfoot. It's apparently 1984 again.
Any idea how much the tickets for Tenacious D are going to cost? The Adler website has no pricing info and Ticketmaster isn't revealing it either. The sumbitches go on sale tomorrow!!!
Pokey Lafarge is playing up in Maquoketa at Codfish Hollow. Great venue for that. Moeller does a great job.Dang I’ll be Boston for work that week.
should be a crazy show
New music venue in East Moline. What and where is the Rust Belt?
Will be going to this. I also saw that Jason Isbel is going to be there as well in July. I have never been to the venue but it looks awesome.Who woulda ever guessed that one of the hottest live music venues in the entire Midwest would be in friggin' East Moline. Sean Moeller is a miracle worker.
