Iowa football coach Kirk Ferentz announced Monday morning as part of the new game week routine a system that imposes fines against the newly allowed cost-of-attendance stipend for players due to misconduct. The news follows Virginia Tech coach Bud Foster creating a similar system and Cincinnati coach Tommy Tuberville voicing his support for fines as well.
The fines are just a part of Iowa's new routine that Ferentz introduced this season, including morning practices, moving the off day from Sunday to Thursday, and doing a more regular Friday practice vs. a light walk-through.

They reformatted the boards(all of Rivals). Any poster who didn't post on a Rivals forum within a set time frame had their post count set to 0 by default. Old posts only carried over if you had posted during the time period when the data was still being moved from the old site and the system was able to capture the number from before.

Phew. Thanks for the heads up. For a second there I thought that Twitter fine of $1,000,000 was real. That seemed a bit excessive. However, being sent to Michigan for missing wide open TD passes seems acceptable.
