I was fairly close.
I had predicted an overall 20-11 record, with Iowa going 10-3 in non-con (I had them losing to Texas, N.C. and Iowa State) and 10--8 in the Big 10. I thought that was just good enough to get around a 9 or 10 seed and avoiding the play in game.
So Iowa sort of under-performed in the non-con compared to my expectations (I thought they'd win against Syracuse and UNI) but exceeded expectations by 2 games in the Big 10. If I had to choose, I'd of picked over-performing in conference, so I'm very happy and think they exceeded my overall expectations by quite a bit.
How'd the rest of you do with your prognostications?
