During covid, I'm willing to bet many of you, or someone close to you, lost their job. We are now seeing the government employees deal what what many had to deal with during that time. While I wouldn't wish job loss on anyone, there is a certain amount of water finding level to this. I don't remember "xxxxx layoffs at the ABC agency" during covid.

Job loss in the government ranks. No i don't. I may have missed layoffs, can you remind me please?

I remember the public sector getting crushed. We had layoffs at my.company at the time.

It's easy to confuse when there is so much Marxism/socialism/communism these days, but I suspect you mean private sector, not public.

I don't recall any mass layoffs in government agencies during covid. I'd guess some even swelled to support the tracking/mitigation/vaccine/aid all the public health stuff.

Of course, most of the 'non-essential' stuff that was impacted, isn't typically done by the federal government. Are there a lot of federal government operated restaurants for instance? Were the cafeteria workers furloughed? Are they actually government employees or Aramark (or whoever) contractors?

So just eliminating USAID was appropriate with no review?

I think a portion of this, and what many in the *private sector experience was a top down review of "is this actually an essential job" and many were told they were not.

Specific to USAID, The US is going to continue to look out for its best intrest, USAID was wrought with fraud

We all get drunk on a Friday morning once in a while.
Or they consider a few gummies as a healthy breakfast, followed by some weed with their coffee.
Others just get loaded up with the day’s talking points by their handlers.

Some can't track capitalization rules either.
Supposedly he's a writer.

I work for a Big university and write journals. That is why I am skeptical.

I'm also 5 10 and 167 pounds in good health. I don't need DNA damaging substances. Force people to not be fat and maybe we can discuss then. Obesity is a bigger problem than a low impact virus..at b this point.

So uh yeah.... anyone REALLY feel bad these government employees are dealing with something many Americans have had to deal with over thr last 4 years?
I'm thinking the cat is out of the bag and things are going to be entertainingly awful.

Watch Illinois closely to see the future. Pritzker is at war with Trump with a state budget hanging on based on the stock market.
