I think Iowa needs to find another way to pay tribute. A simple moment of silence with a nice picture of her on the Jumbotron would suffice.

What’s pathetic about what I said? It’s 100 percent true. I’m all for paying tribute to Celia, but why imitate exactly what ISU is doing? Especially when Levi is in no way shape or form affiliated with the university and sadly, many of his followers don’t know that.
I thought the university should’ve done a moment of silence for Mollie at the first game since she went to school at Iowa and was a current student. I stand by what I originally said; if the university (not Levi) wants to pay tribute to Celia Im absolutely for it, but they need to include something for Mollie, too.
And for the record, I have lost a child. My son lost his 6 year battle with muscular dystrophy and passed away at the U of I children’s hospital. Sadly, Ive watched a game from the top floor. I have plenty of respect for humanity and hold numerous fundraisers each year to raise money for the MDA. But I don’t believe Levi should pretend he’s part of the university and post messages like that. Not his call to make.

I've never heard of a university honoring the death of a student from a different university.
Don't recall ISU or tOSU joining in our tribute after Sash's death or the tragedy that occurred at the hands of Gang Lu. Not sure why there is an expectation for Iowa to do something. Seems like an odd thing for some to get offended by our lack of participation. But it's 2018 and people look for a reason to get their undies in a bunch.

The only difference is Hawkeye Heaven on Facebook. That's it. If that page didn't exist with all of his plagiarism, we wouldn't be talking about this.

I am surprised that Iowa hasn't started to take action against someone using 'Hawkeye' if they aren't following the company line. They are not the easiest of people to get things done through.

I'm sure I'm going to take a lot of heat for this, but why the heck does everyone feel the need to do something symbolic about this. Yes it was a terrible thing that happened, but does the family really need a bunch of people who they don't know putting on a little show that really does nothing more than make themselves feel better. Show Respect? How about leaving the family to grieve ... If you didn't know her, you can feel bad but why try to insert yourself into the situation?
If I remember correctly, he also created a post on his page to stripe the Rose Bowl and it looked terrible. That guy is a d bag.
