That's not what he's saying, but like I said earlier I would have been bombing Iran's nuke sites years ago. It's just now, I don't trust the reasoning this administration is escalating things other than possible revenge because Trump thinks Iran wants to kill him.
With Israel going into Syria, Gaza, West Bank, and Lebanon plus the US going after Yemen with addition of arming Israel, it feels like all of the dog wagging is just to expand these wars into a greater operation. It would probably pave the way to the Alien Sedition Act and martial law if we start dropping bombs on Iran.

Yes, but the challenge is generational. Older Iranians know life before the regime took over. This population hates the regime but is getting too old to fight. The younger generation only knows the regime but has heard from their parents. What is remarkable is a lot of resistance is being fueled by women and the underground church (mainly Christian). I think we are going to see something amazing happen there before the end of the decade.
History tells us that when authoritarian regimes fall they do so rapidly.
I’d like to think there are smart people in our state department making overtures to the non theocrats but I just can’t give that much credit to trump and Rubio.
No matter who is POTUS, this will likely be led by Israel and the Saudis. They are very capable and the US will hopefully play only a supporting role.
I’m not sure I’m trusting them enough for that. I worry that they’re just as happy sticking with the devil they know, just keeping them off-balance enough so that they’re not a serious threat.
