So seriously, why is there still no WH response to Russia putting bounties on US troops?

Is it correct that NATO picked up information confirming this? And this goes back months. It is hard to believe this can't be resolved. We are supposed to have sophisticated intelligence gathering spy stuff.

Did they tell the POTUS or not? Official oral and written correspondence are supposed to be a matter of public record to be archived. What's going on in that WH?

Reminds me of a line in Bolton's book where he says Trump spends most of his mornings on the phone, occasionally with people in government.

Bolton also says that during briefings, Trump does 90% of the talking, and not much listening the other 10% of the time.

Can we agree that Trump is awful and needs to go, and that Russia is an adversary that tries to cause problems for us? And can we then get back to the more important problems?

Lets say this is true. How does it excuse Trump still doing nothing about it?
They thought it was bad intelligence, as in not true. Why would they tell the president something they didn’t believe was true?

Let’s pretend he was briefed and attacked. What would be the title of your thread? My guess is something along the lines of “Trump puts lives at risk based on a rumor”.
Who ever said we should attack Russia?
Is this just another diversion?
There are plenty of other responses.
Not letting them rejoin the G7, though

(CNN)The intelligence that assessed there was an effort by a Russian military intelligence unit to pay the Taliban to kill US soldiers was included in one of President Donald Trump's daily briefings on intelligence matters sometime in the spring, according to a US official with direct knowledge of the latest information.

That assessment, the source said, was backed up by "several pieces of information" that supported the view that there was an effort by the Russian intelligence unit -- the GRU -- to pay bounties to kill US soldiers, including interrogation of Taliban detainees and electronic eavesdropping. The source said there was some other information that did not corroborate this view but said, nonetheless, '"This was a big deal. When it's about US troops you go after it 100%, with everything you got."
The New York Times reported Monday night that the intelligence had been included in a written version of the President's Daily Brief in late February.

This is yet another story that puts another nail in the Trump reelection coffin.

This one is more serious because it cost Merican lives with no response.

You have both the Acting (at the time)DNI and the current DNI tell you this NYT article was inaccurate.

You wouldn't take anyones word on it....

Quit with the faux outrage.
So, if it is true, get him out there in a public hearing. I mean, it isn't like people have a history of being goaded into lying for Trump. If you are so confident that the administration is telling the truth, drain the swamp a little. Get people in front of Congress and under oath. What are you so fearful of?

Nah, she’s got another boy-toy she’s breaking in.
It will be interesting to see if the marital infidelities of Joni become a campaign issue thus fall. Especially given the fact that Teresa recovered from losing her husband in an accident.

Ya know... that "family values" thing the Republican Party preaches about?

I suspect it won’t come up unless Ernst gets personal OR Ernst is leading come October.

Nat's triggered and posting on a 3 month old thread.

Someone should contact FSUTribe... he has names and everything. Even the sworn statement of a Taliban POW.

You really are that level of stupid.

Just because Drumpf’s top military generals are using carefully crafted nondenial-denials like the “evidence isn’t 100% conclusive” while all of them still say it’s an open investigation and they are “concerned” doesn’t mean this isn’t an issue. The CIA had specific wires of money going from Russia to Taliban commanders when they increased their attacks on the US. The only thing “inconclusive” you can point to is that Russia specifically paid for individual dead body counts versus just provided them money in general to attack us. Either action should have been forcefully addressed by Drumpf.

If you’re too dumb to understand how to read political statements from political appointees that’s on you not me. When a political appointee like Barr and Rudy says something strong and definitive it doesn’t mean that’s necessarily right, but that he is willing to go along with it and risk their reputation. But when political appointees give equivocating answers like all of Drumpf’s top military political appointees are doing on this issue it means that they don’t agree but want to keep their job by not confronting the Fuher.

But yes, slurp down on that propaganda Magat.

Trump gets a brand new sexual assault accusation and Nat digs up a two month old thread. Hmm...
Sorry, Ill start a new thread. Nahhh. It's better for all to see the unhinged dog pile-on and how wrong you all were. That's my satisfaction.

Here ya go nitwit. A complete breakdown of the Russian bounty situation and why Drumpf has remained inactive written by a recent former head attorney for the Department of Defense as well as the intelligence services.
