So what's the range of outcomes for this team?

Obviously the low end of the range is Iowa doesn't get a postseason invite to anything. What's the high end? Is a 7-10 seed still a realistic shot? Maybe 10-12 seed is more realistic? Still think Fran will have to find contributions from one of the big guys at strategic times the rest of the way.

I think a 7 seed is the best possible(but unlikely) outcome and that will require significant improvements in play and health issues to go away to happen. That will probably need us to get up to .500 in conference play and a win or two in the BTT. While that scenario has a slight possibility, I doubt it will happen. We were damn near 0-4 in conference to start, plus have an absolutely horrible loss in non-con. Looking at the remaining regular season schedule I highly doubt that we have 9 more wins ahead of us unless we see huge improvements across the roster.

If we don't see significant improvements in play (aka shooting) I think we're looking at between a 5-15 to 7-13 record in conference play and that won't be good enough. Likely not even NIT since they're picking more non-power conference schools to fill out their bracket now.

The range is from losing every game to winning every game. The likely result is somewhere in the middle.

Road games are going to be really hard. I think 8 B1G wins will be difficult.

We can’t ride our starters playing nearly the entire game. Up in minutes from Dix and Bowen, please.

Yep, with this short bench everybody needs to contribute minutes,.. whether they deserve them or not.
