D King could take it to the house anytime. He was able to outrun and outjuke defenders to avoid direct hits. Scherff would have been hard to bring down but he would have been pummeled. By players linebacker-sized and bigger running full speed. Not worth it.

his inability to prevent a big hit would prolly not be a good thing

but damn it'd be fun to watch(assuming there was no injury )

There's always that big kid in 8th grade that is slow but huge. Just give 'em the ball and watch them trample the 13 y/o's.
