They voted to give spring sports an extra year of eligibility. Not just for the seniors, but every player gets another year of eligibility. Up to the schools for how they handle scholarships/financial aid. Baseball rosters could be larger next year only to accommodate any seniors who return for another year. It was the right thing to do. Some seniors will have some deciding to do. Almost no baseball players are on a full ride, so can they/their families afford more out of pocket costs if they are going to have their degree already? Things to decide.

It's too bad for those high school seniors playing a spring sport. I know, no one wants another year of high school (duh), but many of those athletes won't go on to play in college. This was their last chance to play a sport competitively.
