Going to Iowa games for years it seems like our quarterbacks are throwing to wide receivers that
can't separate from defenders. The wide receivers coaching is finally creating a scheme so our quarterbacks can throw to open receivers. Some quarterbacks and I don't know if Stanley is one or not, the more they throw the more accurate they get. I remember under Nagle, their was a quarterback named McCaulin who was supposed to be a good passer but was not performing.
The last few games they started throwing on about every down and he was spectacular.
Maybe we need the pass to set up the run more often. The Minnesota game was a fun game to watch

It appeared to me that Minny was selling out to stop the run, which they pretty much did. It left receivers running open all day.
