Mike might have turned the senior corner tonight. Adam had a really good game too.
Agree on Mike, probably best I have seen him play at Carver. woody, not sure I Agee with great game. He had several key buckets when his defender left him to help, but he needs to roll to basket more to create these situations more. That probably falls on Fran mostly as we do nothing off the high ball screen or interior passing options. woody also got beat badly on defense way too many times especially in second half when it looked we were in some sort of zone and he just was out of position because of lack of foot speed.
Nice to see him make those freethrows, WANTING to have the ball in his hands so he could shoot them!
He did a few bonehead drives but his short ranger jumpers were awesome. Best game I have seen him have, and on national TV and against the number one team.
His comments about staying aggressive with a lead, something they learned in the ISU fold...was very mature talk after the game.
