With the brackets now released, some don't appear to be that deep. When you take Penn State out of the mix the tournament doesn't seem that much better then Midlands.

It isn't fairly well established that the Midlands is better this year?

Make sure the PSU trolls that lurk over here don't hear you say that.

Take any top team out of any tournament and it's going to suffer, from every angle.

The Midlands has been a great tournament for a very long time, and many of those years the reasons it was great was because you had Iowa and Iowa State always there and both likely ranked in the Top 5 (clearly the post-grads was huge for a long time as well). That right there will get you some hellish matchups and some great competition, in addition to the individuals looking to knock off high ranked guys just on those 2 teams.

I rarely have any luck streaming anything live on flo. Iowa vs sdsu was the only thing that has worked for me so far. Big Ten plus streaming has been flawless, so I don't understand what could be different.

Will be interesting to see how Mark Hall does. His next match is Jordan Rodgers and then if he wins, he'd next likely face Casey Kent. Crutchmer is also in the bracket.

Mark Hall beats Casey Kent from Penn who is ranked #3 9-4. 3 takedowns a reversal and a riding time point for Hall.

If Halls redshirt is pulled he will instantly be in the upper echelon of this weight. IMO I think the 4 best 174 lbers right now are (in no order): Valencia, Jordan, Epperly, and Hall.
