Speaking of grocery stores

Anybody remember or ever worked at Barlows Grocery Store that used to be located just down the street from the CR/Marion border on First Avenue? I worked there in 78/79? but got fired for putting the wrong groceries in the wrong car more than once.

Did you ever find a home for that dog, or did you just let him loose in the country-side?

I grew up a few minutes away from it, best friend worked there also. I liked that store.

Started out as a Barlows, then for some reason I believe it changed over to a Randalls store for a bit. But by the late 80's I think that building stopped being a grocery store and it eventually became a Toyota Financial call center.
