If any of the above replace Micic, they move to the 8th seed. If not, Mohamed of Egypt is the #8 seed.

Stylistically, I think Spencer is better off on the bottom side. If Spencer is drawn in on top, it’s going to be a meat grinder top side.

Exactly! What is up with that?
Someone smarter than me do the math on how likely that is. It would seem the U.S.A. Team has an 83% chance of drawing the #1 seed, if there randomly drawn in.

You never know what can happen. Japan has already had two favored women lose in the first round. The Olympics can have some crazy outcomes.
