Wow, Spencer gets the #1 seed in the round of 16. Go Spencer!
The good news is that if he beats him, Aman from India is on the bottom and they would never have to meet.

Interestingly, Spencer needs to win 4 times to get to Paris, but because of the bracket size and draw, Zain has to win 5 times on Saturday to get to Paris.

Flowrestling I believe. First round starts at 2am Central Friday night, with SF set for around 10am Central Saturday morning. If needed for our guys, the 3rd place match is set for 10am Central Sunday morning.
It's an international competition, whatever they do won't make sense.
Was in Budapest in 2018 for worlds, huge line waiting to get in at noon. The opening matches and the door open both occurred at noon so Taylor and Yazdani were wrestling in rd 1 while ppl were still trying to get in and most people missed it. We were first inline so we caught most of the match.

Wow that's ridiculous. Wrestling is it's own worst enemy sometimes.
Always a concern for our guys when it's a big tournament on the other side of the world.
Their biological clocks are off and the officiating can be even more inconsistent.
Hopefully none of that comes into play and they qualify the weights, preferably without the drama of the 3rd place match.

Like how HS and College insist on an even number of weight classes. Because ties and 20 stage hierarchy tie-breakers are even more fun.
