When I was recruited I had mentioned I loved Jeff Moe and how he played. After dinner we went to the field house and Jeff walks straight to our table sits down and we split a pitcher of beer.

I think this kind of thing happens quite a bit.

Agree, we're lucky to have both of these guys championing Iowa the way they do.

Would've been pretty cool if we'd had Scherff there too to speak with some of the OL recruits along with Wirfs... "Hi, I'm Brandon Scherff, the highest paid guard in the NFL."

I think she probably does. I have a no- nonsense boss. We get along great. There is little to no backstabbing, gossip or infighting here.

However, we’ve made a couple of hires in the last year who might have tried to rock that boat before quickly finding out that Boss Lady doesn’t suffer fools lightly. Lol
