I have had 4 sprained ankles in my 20's and one that lasted 2 weeks. However, I never really played on it after the injury (except the 2 week one). So my question for anyone with medical knowledge and/or experience - does continuing playing lengthen the recovery/healing time? Wonder if Keegan should not have gone back into the game when he first injured it.....

I'm sorry that you got such an injury. I think you'd better sit down until your ankle recovers. Your ankle needs to be given some time to recover and not strain. I think you need a Walking Boot that would support your ankle and make walking easier. I'm not sure about sports. In this case, you need a doctor's consultation. Only he can forbid or allow you to continue playing sports.
When I had an ankle injury, the doctor forbade me to run for about 3 months until I fully recovered. Just the same, Walking Boot from dunbarmedical.com helped me quickly recover.
I wish you a speedy recovery.

I thought this was going to be about Ogundele.

Ogundele‘s rebounding, 1v1 defense, rim protection and fouls to give is what Iowa needs in the paint.
