Ahhh that glorious time of year where we lose an hour. I remember in my twenties how this was the worst time of year because you lost an hour of sleep, now I love it as my kids wake up an hour later. My 5 and 8 year old wake up at 5am every morning during the winter.

Speaking as a former restaurant cook, I can’t begin to describe the intolerable cruelty of combining Day Light Savings and Mothers Day on the same Sunday morning. It’s hard enough trying to get the cooks in for brunch on normal days. Take away an hour of sleep and throw them into the sh**storm that is Mothers Day and you would have a revolt.
