Stanley lost the game for us no ifs ands or buts

Sure, but he had a helluva an assist from the coaches who refused to bench him, who failed to call a TO before the disaster of the INT on first and goal from the three, AND who stupidly failed to punt the damn ball at the end of the first half. What a disaster. What a horrible loss. But it's true that the only team to beat Iowa so far this season is . . . IOWA.

Agree. At what point do you stop blaming Stanley for being a crappy qb & start blaming the coaches for playing Stanley since he’s a crappy qb.

He probably should’ve been pulled in the 2nd quarter but after the first series of the 2nd half he should’ve never seen the field again.

Everybody knew he isn’t capable of winning that game except the coaches. Mansell may not have won it either but at least there would’ve been a little hope.

Stanley gets that chicken look in his eyes & you can tell he’s scared all game long right from the first quarter.
