That would be fine since Mulvey started last night, but I liked the rotation with Brauns and Mulvey. They have different styles, but both contributed to the excellent effort vs. Purdue. Brauns had the block and the dunk, and Mulvey had the two straight traps at midcourt that forced a pair of over-and-back violations. Both kids deserve a lot of credit for hanging in there despite a minuscule amount of playing time--until now. Continue to use them both wisely.

I liked Riley's first half minutes so I wouldn't mind him starting again. He hustles on defense, in particular with hedges and trapping in the backcourt. The past couple games with Riley on the court he's been getting open on the slip but hasn't been hit for the bucket. Brauns seems more adept than Mulvey on the offensive end though with more overall size. The situation isn't ideal at all, but Fran should probably continue splitting time three ways with Ladji in there.

Iowa might beat Washington, but that's only the win left on the schedule.

Riley played well last night, should have played more and started the second half.

He does everything Freeman didn't, mainly defense. Seemed like we played better not having to worry about getting it to the post.

Doesn't really matter. They could start the head equipment manager if they have any eligibility.
Better yet, have a random selection before tip off among the dozen or so students who actually show up for the home games.

Purdue big men were similar in size to Braun--he struggles more vs taller centers. . Braun at 6'9 doesn't match up as well with Wisconsin. Room for both of them to play and give 100% while they are out there. Dembele isn't improving--seems like quality young man otherwise. Harding can continue to come off bench. Playing both Harding and Thelwell at same time Iowa gets to small to compete on boards.
