Steve King - Author

Outgoing Fourth District Iowa Congressman Steve King says he has a book about his political career in Washington that will be released soon. King says he’s been keeping notes for years and started writing in earnest in June after losing the Republican primary to Randy Feenstra. Thet title of King’s book is “Walk Through the Fire” and King says it was inspired by the late Andrew Breitbart who would say: ‘Walk towards the fire. Their bullets aren’t real…Have the courage to do that because they want to shut you up and they want to diminish your message by calling you names.” Kings says his book will correct the record about his career and address the attacks he’s endured from critics who called him a racist and a xenophobe.
Once his 9th term in the U-S House is over at year’s end, King says he’s planning to establish an international organization to restore western civilization.

"Walk Through the Fire" is probably an appropriate title because he should definitely burn in hell!

He didn't waste any time trying to capitalize monetarily on his former position once that funding stream was shut off.

Could you imagine what it would be like to be Steve King’s ghost writer?
Steve: "Hey ghostwriter, do you want to come over and talk about the book? Marilyn is making Maid-Rites and we're going to rent Jeff Dunham's special. Also do you know how to set up a podcast?"

Is his attempt to "restore western civilization" going to be a "Boys from Brazil" thing? Maybe trying to clone himself?

I'll take out all the negative. What record on the positive is he going to correct other than in 18 years the only bill he passed was to change the name of a rural post office?

I'd love HROT to have a town hall meeting with Herr King
