Only remotely possible path to Wells Fargo I see would be as an 8/9 seed paired with KU, and I don't really want that. I think the only other potential top 16 seeds to DSM are from the Big Ten, and we wouldn't get paired with them.

St Louis would be possible grouped with any of these: 1-seed KU, 3/4 seed UK, 3-seed Xavier, 4-seed Dayton, 2-seed OU. KU seems headed to DSM and OU to OKC and Dayton not a likely 4-seed (and us an unlikely 5), so as a 6-seed vs Xavier or UK seems our best possibility for STL. MSU, IU, and PU could all end up in STL too, which would eliminate us from consideration.

Next closest is OKC, and as a 7-seed with OU would work there. Similar to KU in DSM, I'd rather play further from home than OU in their home state.

I know I am out of state so in regard to attending the game it doesn't matter to me, That said, I think they need to get away from Iowa and go play somewhere else, Maybe less pressure, More relaxed team if they get away from the state.

Nope, No chance. No way they'll give an 8 seed a supposed home court advantage against a 1. Iowa has zero chance of playing in Des Moines. Zero
