Iowa has games left against Illinois, Minnesota, Northwestern and Nebraska. None of these teams have as good of defenses as Purdue or Wisconsin.

Against Purdue and Wisconsin Iowa was -7 in turnover margin. This is likely to change going forward.

Iowa also has a better defense than anyone left on the schedule.

Our problems right now are offensive. We're young and haven't gelled yet along the OL. However, we have a history of growing there as the season progresses under KF. Reasonable shot we see some improvement there. Weaker defenses (relative to what we just played) will help.

Quarterback play has been poor to middling. There is a chance we'll go with Padilla and see a spark. We have talent at RB and TE. WR is young talent and needs helped out by a running game.

The only one loss team in our division is Minnesota. If we rally the troops and win out -- not terribly far fetched if we clean up turnovers and offense shows a bit of growth -- all we need is one Wisconsin loss. They're a 2 loss big ten team like us.

I'll consider this a very successful season if we can take the big ten west title. It's still within reach.
