Still president

Another day and Trump is still President, which is a sad statement for our country.

No GOP politician has the guts to force him out of office. They are all talk. No consequences, like usual, for this piece of crap.

FIFY. The Dems have articles of impeachment ready and it sounds like the House will bring them to vote.

This is 100% on the GOP completely abdicating their responsibilities and what is right and best for the country. The only one who has shown any balls in the Senate is Romney, and he's been up and down. The rest completely suck.

You really think politicians should be able to force a POTUS out of office?

We have a process for removing a POTUS for high crimes and misdemeanors. We have a process for removing a POTUS who's incapacitated. Only one is appropriate in this case. Take your complaint to Pelosi.

Generic rhetorical question. Do all of you know why I'll be happy when Biden is sworn in? Will it be because Trump is finally out of office and the clown show is over? No. It is because I have hope that the incessant bitching from the triggered liberals might be over.

I am disappointed in the Cabinet members who are quitting instead of doing all they can to remove trump. It is not heroic to leave when you can have a more positive effect by staying and invoking the 25th. This seems like more of a ploy to protect the Republicans from admitting trump is a nut job.

Get fukt. Pos. Sick of the liberals, are you? You caucus with traitors.

I'm pretty astounded that the president can incite a violent and bloody coup on the nation's capitol to try to overthrow the election yet the Vice President sits idly by refusing to strip him of his powers.
I’m curious what makes you think he’s responsible for inciting this round. You also blamed him for MSP and Portland.

General rhetorical answer. That little escapade by the crazy wingnuts on Capital hill guarantees that you will hear liberals bitching forever. Get used to it, sunshine. Trumpers have earned all the misery they'll get.

Because the GOP were so professional during the Obama years. You'll do the same during the Biden years. It's amusing you think you're somehow above it

Whining already! Try and have a good day. For your loved ones sake. I'm sure they are sick of it
I am going to have a fantastic day, thanks. I love my job and the people I work with. I can compartmentalize, but thanks for your concern.

When they incite a resurrection against the Constitutional process of the change of power? Absolutely. Trump is a clear and present danger to the United States of America.

If what is happening right now does not upset you then you are the problem.

You didn't see the freakshow at the WH immediately before the riot did you? To paraphrase a few things speakers said: 'time to kick ass n take names'; 'fight for Trump'; 'trial by combat'; 'go with strength' and I'm sure many other things just as bad that I missed. Trump himself spoke for 1 1/2 hours, so you can compare that to his 2 minute speech last night where he pretended to not be responsible.

Or let’s think outside the box for a second, do you think forcefully removing a President right now will bring more peace?

No, it will not bring on more "peace". If that's what you want to call the last 4 years. But just like I don't always want to punish my children for things they do wrong, it has to be done to prevent further abuse. One of the reasons Trump was able to do what he did was because so many administrations were allowed to get away with crimes without ever facing any consequences. It has to stop now and it should not stop with Trump. The entire sedition caucus needs to be removed from office.

Trump is mentally ill. He's incapable of doing his job. Truth be told, he has been since day one, but after the election he's come completely unglued. He's become a clear and danger to the nation. This is one of the exact reasons that the 25th Amendment is in place. It won't "bring peace," but it will remove the danger. To put it in terms you might understand, it won't immediately heal the patient, but it will cut out the cancer.

A violent bloody coup? Really? Having been laying on the couch for the last 48hrs listening to all this, the over-dramatization is getting to be a bit much.

Hmmm...so the threat of more unrest and unlawful activity should outweigh law and order?

That seems akin to negotiating with a terrorist.
Just trying to weigh the good and the bad with the possibilities, I think he is neutered right now with social media and there are enough people in Congress to keep him in check, but who know I am probably wrong

Yes...there's a 25th amendment for it.

Wow. I thought you actually agreed how bad Trump was. You seem to be all over the place lately.

You also must have missed all the bitching the Right has done. Wah - Hollywood hates us. Sports stars are mean. Liberals are elitists and socialists. I hate paying taxes. Plenty of whining from the Right yet you just ignore it.

You sound like you have mental issues and should seek legitimate help.

I would agree it is over dramatization if still many of the people who were responsible for it weren't currently on the internet talking about what they'll do 1/19. Before 1/6, I would have thought it impossible for the Capitol to be breached in the manner it was. I would like to know who will be making sure they are not allowed anywhere near the inauguration with the guns they say they're planni g to bring this time. I don't have faith in the POTUS or his actings.

Removing him would be a mistake. He immediately becomes a martyr to rally around and do any of you really believe he wouldn't want that role?

The only real answer is impeachment and an immediate vote in the Senate to remove. The only evidence needed is his tweets and videos paired with the assault in the capitol. It is obvious he knew this was coming. Do it today. This is not a removal from office...it is a trial where the prosection rests after playing the video of the crime. It is obvious and it needs to happen.

Then look to charge people like Rudy in the new administration.

Which of those three words do you disagree with?

Shape and scale my friend. You could line up the shape, but the scale of this this "violent bloody coup" was not significant compared to what the phrase would usually conjure up.

As far as "violent bloody coups" go, it was damned weak. Really, really weak.

Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth. The US military standing in front of the capitol should do it. Ever stand next to a real tank? Good luck with your deer rifle.
