Obviously one of the scholarships would go to Connor, but where would the second one go? I cant imagine anyone else would want to come into this program this year as Connor and JBo would be 1/2 guards and as we all know every position after that is jammed packed.

Are you able to bank away scholarships for later years? Is there a certain amount of time you can hold onto a scholarship?

To answer your question without being sarcastic, yes, coach Fran does not have to fill all 13 scholarships. He could bank the remaining one and use it for next year....

I'd like to see him save it for 2018. Bring someone in with Weiskamp to balance the classes a bit.

Not to mention there's some pretty good midwestern talent in 2018.

You do realize that if two people transfer he could give one to Connor but then the other would be a grad transfer so he would be leaving after 17 so he could still be recruiting for 18 knowing that player will be gone and a spot will be available

I do realize that. I also realize that bringing in grad transfers/jucos is not nearly as easy as everyone thinks it is. Especially when they're basically guaranteed to be a backup. JBo is the starting PG.

Do you realize that if 2 ppl transfer we are down to like 4 guards on the team? Unless you are in the Uhl transfer camp.
