Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade; states can ban abortion

Because as a member of a democracy, I have an obligation to try to protect the most vulnerable.

We all have a vested interest in keeping the right to life strong.
Why? Why does adding a million unwanted babies to the population each year benefit me? You? American taxpayers?

Jeffrey Toobin, the legal analyst on CNN, said today that Kavanaugh, Barrett and Gorsuch used language in a lawyerly way which didn't mean they would uphold Roe V. Wade.

Toobin basically said they can't be held accountable since they knew what they were saying and never promised to uphold Roe V. Wade during their confirmation hearings.

Precisely.

It absolutely IS an abortion.

As is a miscarriage when uncontrolled bleeding occurs.
And these silly (and DANGEROUS) laws will require a woman to effectively "bleed out" UNTIL they are in critical condition before they can get the abortion. Because when they initially have that problem, their life is NOT YET "in jeopardy", and their life signs can be quite normal.

And criminalizing any doctor providing an abortion AT THAT POINT means that doctor WILL have to wait - AGAINST medical reasoning and Standard of Care - UNTIL the woman's life "is in danger".

What would men do if all boys aged 12 had to get a vasectomy to prevent pregnancies? Then, could later get them reversed when ready to be a father? How would that go over?

If they were guaranteed reversible, just make it voluntary and they'd be standing in line....
