Abandoned? It was always a myth. A giant self-affirmation to create the space for all kinds of abhorrent shit.
I don't like term limits as we need experienced politicians, I would support age limits though on how old you can be when you run.
That or a total number of years served, like the traditional 30 and out we talk about for most jobs.
All of them after a period of 18-24 years split between both houses of Congress, with a max of 18 years total in one of the houses. Maybe I’d allow 24 years total in the Senate because that is a state wide election.
