Iowa has had a number of long drives this year, so it got me thinking how that compared to last year.
It was quite interesting and I thought I would share.
Last year, in 13 games we had 11 drives of 80 yards or longer. Interestingly, Jake was the quarterback on 5 of the drives, CJ on the other 6. We had 2 drives of over 90 yards last year, both led by CJ.
This year, in two games, we have already had 5 drives of 80 yards or longer...and already 3 drives of 90 yards or longer (more than all of last year).
Admittedly, we haven't scored on 2 of the long drives this year, so we need to 'clean that up'.
Regardless, a good start to the year on offense...let's hope it continues.
