This forum has had a plethora of posts and comments re: Noah Fant's future plans and presumed jump to the NFL next spring, all of which are basically innuendo, speculation, rumor, and espistomologically unsubstantiated pontifications.

however, there has been a paucity of such thoughts re: his counter part, Hockenson, who I consider the better tight end.

Does anyone have any clue as to whether he will declare in April of 2019, or will he wait another year, or possibly even give us four years?

I think hockenson is a great tight end but I dont think he has the measurables to go to the NFL this early... i think he could be an NFL tight end but would benefit greatly for staying through his senior year.

I think he'd get drafted, but the again these nfl folks aren't always too bright :)

that said, I assume he'll be back next year!

I don't worry about the instate kids(born hawks) nearly as much as the out of state ones.

Some might think I'm crazy, but I wouldn't be surprised one bit to see AJ play four years....

I really think aj will stay all 4 years.. when he committed he said if he went anywhere else he would have regrets.. I think that will be the same thought process on the nfl if he leaves early he will have regrets not being a Hawkeye one more year..

doesn't seem like the type to abandon his team either.
not that you can fault those who chase the money asap.

I agree on AJ unless he's top 10 pick material, then go get the money kid
