After watching a replay of the game, Tagovailoa actually had an impressive night passing. The stats have him 16-29…55% completion. But when you factor in the interceptions, he was 21-34….a whopping 63%. That’s pretty good…lol

He was like 9-12 before Dumas' injury, and was like 7-17 after.

Dumas was a tall ISM. Better target and huge strides.
Hope he gets ok and makes bank.
that is, in substance, what I tried to imply in a previous thread, but I seem to have been met with a high level of impertinence. He was like 9-12 before Dumas' injury, and was like 7-17 after.
Had knee surgery, out for season. So what is the word on Dumas? How bad was his injury?
There is little doubt that this impacted the outcome of the game. Not the result but the score might have been a bit closer. Iowa punted only once before the 4th quarter up 37 and Tagovailoa was clearly shaken after that second interception early in the 2nd quarter that pretty much sealed it after the Hawks were up 24-7.that is, in substance, what I tried to imply in a previous thread, but I seem to have been met with a high level of impertinence.
He looked like a Jr. high qb at halftime. There is little doubt that this impacted the outcome of the game. Not the result but the score might have been a bit closer. It must have impacted his year. He has been horrible every game. Every throw is a "I hope it isn't intercepted"There is little doubt that this impacted the outcome of the game. Huh? Even after last week's debacle he has the highest PFF in the league and a QB rating of 159.3, good for 3rd in the B1G and 24th in the nation with 12 Td's and 6 ints. He only had one Int going into Saturday. It must have impacted his year. He has been horrible every game. Every throw is a "I hope it isn't intercepted"
Demus is a huge force, was torching us. Major loss for Maryland. He was like 9-12 before Dumas' injury, and was like 7-17 after.
That sucks. I feel bad for him.So what is the word on Dumas? How bad was his injury?
21 out of 29 if you count INT as a completion 72%After watching a replay of the game, Tagovailoa actually had an impressive night passing. The stats have him 16-29…55% completion. But when you factor in the interceptions, he was 21-34….a whopping 63%. That’s pretty good…lol
The schedule has a ton to do with that.Huh? Even after last week's debacle he has the highest PFF in the league and a QB rating of 159.3, good for 3rd in the B1G and 24th in the nation with 12 Td's and 6 ints. He only had one Int going into Saturday.
Probably the same reason we kept throwing ISM back there! Big time players make big time plays! So very sorry for that young man. Have to wonder why he was on kick off return. I mean, injuries can’t happen anytime, but they seem more prevalent on punts and kickoffs. Wishing him well for recovery.
Not really. The kid has a ton of talent. He had a bad game against Iowa. Like pretty much every QB will this year. The schedule has a ton to do with that.
Kent State: 107th
West Virginia: 72nd
Illinois: 119th
Howard: Terrible
Kind of the point. He is also now without his #1 WR. I'd be willing to bet now entering BIG play his pff numbers drop. Not really. The kid has a ton of talent. He had a bad game against Iowa. Like pretty much every QB will this year.
Losing his #1 wideout is definitely gonna hurt but he won't play against another defense that played like Iowa's played that night all year.Kind of the point. He is also now without his #1 WR. I'd be willing to bet now entering BIG play his pff numbers drop.
Penn State?Losing his #1 wideout is definitely gonna hurt but he won't play against another defense that played like Iowa's played that night all year.
I stand by what I said. He won't have another game like that one all year.Penn State?
Last weeks game was anecdotal at best, but I will stick to his pff grades dropping from now to the end of the season based on playing better defenses.I stand by what I said. He won't have another game like that one all year.
This all started with someone suggesting that Tagovailoa was a turnover machine having a terrible year and sucking in every game, not just the Iowa game.Last weeks game was anecdotal at best, but I will stick to his pff grades dropping from now to the end of the season based on playing better defenses.
I think him playing in Columbus next will be interesting since their pass D is so bad.I stand by what I said. He won't have another game like that one all year.
Who are you arguing with at this point? All I said was I'd bet his pff numbers drop throughout BIG play. I think it's time to take a step back from the conspiracy machine for a bit. This all started with someone suggesting that Tagovailoa was a turnover machine having a terrible year and sucking in every game, not just the Iowa game.

So far from reality that it borders on insanity. One of the dumbest statements I've ever seen on this site and that's saying a lot. For some insane reason you felt compelled to defend it.. Are you the same person with 2 different ID'S? 🤔
I just think it's dumb to use one really bad game against one of the best defenses in the country to argue that the kid isn't a high quality QB. He will definitely be playing a higher better class of opponent in the B1G than he did non-conference (like most everyone) but he will likely still end the year as one of top QB 's in the league statistically. He might have had nearly as many ints in that one game as he will have the rest of the year combined.Who are you arguing with at this point? Didn't I point out that he has played mediocre-poor defenses? He laid an egg against Northwestern last year as well. I stated the interceptions against Iowa was an anecdotal source of evidence, but basing this years stats on 4 games against mediocre (at best) defenses, is just as absurd.I just think it's dumb to use one really bad game against one of the best defenses in the country to argue that the kid isn't a high quality QB.
