Tailgating in Lincoln

1.) You can go to the bars before the game and walk to the stadium from there. (I like this option)

2.) You can try to set up at the res on 10th/Military or somewhere close to that. Good luck.

They unfortunately shut down the Rez for tailgating last year or the year before. I would recommend going under the bridge west of the stadium near the baseball field. If you need directions just ask anyone on the street, they should be able to help.

Crappy tailgating is crappy. Most Neblanders arrive right at kickoff because they have to program all 4 of their VCRs to record any and all pre/post game shows.

I have been to Lincoln twice for Iowa games and I found the Cornhusker fans to be some the best in the BIG10. Sure they talk smack and razz you about the Hawkeyes, but the mostly do it with smiles on their faces...and then they will feed you and offer a cup of kindness. If you are in Lincoln today just relax, go with the flow, and enjoy yourself.

2015 nebraska was one of the coldest games I have been too. I will never forget the cell phones lights being held up by fellow hawks and looking around the stadium knowing we were together. I will also forever remember Jordan Canz. Breaking outside and running down the sideline for the 2nd long td. As soon as he hit that seam I yelled "he's gone". I hope we have a repeat today. Loud and proud hawks. Safe travels to everyone going.

That was so awesome over there that day. I was in the end zone behind canzeri and could see that sucker develop. Once the fullback lit up the safety, see ya.

I was there freezing as well, saying to myself, the huskers are killing this undefeated Iowa team and yet the scoreboard says different. Armstrong throwing that pass to the defender for a pick six was horrible. Scoreboard is all that matters to most of us honest CFB fans.
