Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. John Fetterman, who next month will become a Democratic U.S. senator, landed a cameo appearance in “The Pale Blue Eye,” an upcoming mystery filmed in his home state that stars Christian Bale.
Fetterman shared a photo of him and his wife, Gisele, on set and in costume alongside Bale and movie director Scott Cooper.
This is not the first time Fetterman appeared in a Bale and Cooper-led project. He made a cameo in “Out of the Furnace,” a film featuring Braddock, Pa., the city in which Fetterman served as mayor.
Senators are no strangers to the occasional cameo. Sen. Pat Leahy (D-Vt.) has appeared in several Batman films, and the late senator John McCain (R-Ariz.) appeared in the 2005 comedy “Wedding Crashers.”
