Is there a reason that Iowa hasn't offered? Kid looks like a beast, and I bet his stock will rise next year.
Because they are sitting pretty good with another PG in the same class, who is likely better and isn't likely to commit to an in state school in his home town?
Dasonte BowenWho is the other player? Sorry, I don't following recruiting prospects closely at all.
But can he create his own 3 pt shot without getting locked down by the other team's best defender once he gets across half court?..............................Because they are sitting pretty good with another PG in the same class, who is likely better and isn't likely to commit to an in state school in his home town?
I'd say this is extremely debatable. I like Lipsey's shot much more than Bowen's. Lipsey is an inch shorter, but has a bigger build as well. As an in state product, I personally would have offered. Also, Eli King is another interesting prospect.Because they are sitting pretty good with another PG in the same class, who is likely better and isn't likely to commit to an in state school in his home town?
I was pretty disappointed in Ulis' lack of aggressiveness when he came in near the end vs. the Ducks. Didn't shoot when open.I agree that Bowen appears the better of the two and is higher rated. Wouldn't mind seeing the Hawks get both guys but with Ulis that may make things complicated.
Looks like Bowen is rated a bit higher by ESPN. Guessing Iowa had to chose and decided to put their all their eggs in his basket. We have seen it play out both ways before...hope the hawks aren't scrambling in the end because they missed on BowenI'd say this is extremely debatable. I like Lipsey's shot much more than Bowen's. Eli king is projected to be higher than both, and has a future forcast to Iowa via Rivals, via the fans I guess.Looks like Bowen is rated a bit higher by ESPN. Yes.Whoever helps us win a national championship, sign that person........problem solved.

I was disappointed fran hadnt played ulis more so he actually had some confidence when called on! It wasn’t towards the end of the game ulis got in, i think he played over half the 2nd half... Agreed i wish he would’ve been more aggressive, but i put it as much or more on fran as I do UlisI was pretty disappointed in Ulis' lack of aggressiveness when he came in near the end vs. the Ducks. On the other hand, i'm more than happy with Tony Perkin's interest in scoring - attacks the paint with authority. Thumbs up for him.
Grew up in Ames. Always an IA State fan. Iowa showed interest but it probably wasn't reciprocal so Iowa moved on. His loss, especially since he then blew out his knee and the coaches at his 2 top schools got fired after this season. Is there a reason that Iowa hasn't offered? That's probably fair regarding Fran maybe not playing Ulis a bit more throughout the season but...I was disappointed fran hadnt played ulis more so he actually had some confidence when called on! putting all our eggs in one basket in pg recruiting has paid off richly in the pastBecause they are sitting pretty good with another PG in the same class, who is likely better and isn't likely to commit to an in state school in his home town?
