TCU/Baylor

100% correct. Their offensive schemes don't work if they are playing in less than ideal conditions.

To be fair, it's not just that it is cold - it's been a downpour all game. I don't think anyone in the country would look good offensively in this nonsense.

I was thinking the same thing. Fun and yet horrible game to watch. How great would it be to play Alabama in Iowa weather

Oh Mr Baylor.... All that glitz and glam video game stats but when it came down to getting a yard in a conventional sense due to poor conditions you failed!

I love watching these Southern teams play in something less than ideal weather conditions. Run, run, run, punt. Run, run, run, punt. What's that? You mean it's hard to fling it around when it's not 65 degrees and sunny? Bring your arena ball schemes north during November sometime, you'll lose by 30.

Exactly. Anyone care to bet how the warm weather conferences would fare if they played bowl games up north? Hell if memory serves me correctly before the Orange bowl in '09 the announcers made a huge deal about the temp being 35 degrees....amazing...

I'm going to see more of the TCU cheerleaders....
No kidding. Best reason to watch the game. And the producer wasn't shy about showing them a few hundred times, either.

It isn't just the weather, by the way. Baylor is down to its third-string quarterback. TCU's quarterback is at about half speed and their all-America receiver is not playing. Considering that the starting QBs for both teams were legitimate Heisman candidates, that's not an insignificant factor.

Glad to see TCU win. The winner of the Bedlam game tonight will be the sole league champion. Presumably it will make the playoff.

Really enjoyed seeing Art Briles yell at TCU fans to get off the field after the game. I assume he also chastises Baylor fans for doing this in Waco?

Welcome to real life football. When you expose your QB's like these programs do it's just a matter of time before they are injured. The third string Baylor QB came in against an undefeated OK ST last weekend and made plays. They win that game but now it's an excuse next week.

It's classic to see how these offensive juggernauts deal with weather conditions! Gone are the stats. What would happen in the wind and cold?
