What is everyone's opinion so far? He is not Jon Stewart, obviously, but he has potential. He looks like he is grateful to be there. He looks like he is having fun. He has a lot of talent. The correspondents are funny, especially the new black guy Ron Wood Jr. who I liked on "Last Comic Standing."

I watched it for the first time last night. It as decent. The producers kept a bunch of the writers to ease the transition. It will be interesting to see how how he makes the show his own.

The interviews are different. The one with Kevin Hart was awkard as it was all about Hart praising himself, although I hate when celebrities are on the show anyway. Tuesday's was about a dumb app. Wednesday's with Gov. Christie was where you could tell the difference as Christie kind of took over the interview. But, he is just 31. He will get better at that.

Part of Stewart's appeal was he was good at poking fun of himself. Trevor Noah is a guy, when he tries to do that, it does not work. Noah is a very handsome, well-spoken, tall man.

I would give his show a B so far, which is pretty damn impressive. He is likable. He is intelligent. He is funny. I still miss Jon though. That will take fans while, but he is worthy to be a replacement.

It took one week for to realize I did not like The Nightly Show as a replacement to Colbert.

I watched the first episode and I don't think it has near the same quality as with Stewart. Still funny at times but not as good.

I think Stewart would have done them a huge favor if he had decided to retire a year or 2 ago and they could have either tapped Colbert or Oliver to do the job. But their top talent got poached away from Comedy Central and so when he retired it feels like they had to select from the B team for a host.

Also was turned off from the very beginning because he basically address the show's SJW crowd who clearly wanted Jessica Williams to host.

Trevor is definitly not as polished as Jon, but he's only been in the chair for 1 week. I didn't think he handled the opener after the Oregon shootings all that well - those things got Jon visibly emotional. I think Trevor is still too nervous/excited to be able to express genuine emotion during the show. But he definitely has talent, and I think he'll do fine once he relaxes and gets a few weeks under his belt.

TDS has done a masterful job of developing early talent, like Carrell, Colbert, Helms, Cordrey and many others who have worked their way through; probably a testament to Stewart and his ability to push people in the right directions.

I agree with Trevor not being as good at self-deprecating jokes than Stewart, but some of that is still his nervous excitement being there.
