Team: getting the sum of all parts together, with sense of purpose

Fran McCaffery has a pretty good team. The Big Ten has a great group of teams in 2021.

Iowa is sweep by Indiana. Iowa sweeps #25 Rutgers.

Can they do the same to Michigan State?

It was just yesterday that Iowa senior center Luka Garza got his first win over the Spartans?

Iowa needs to figure out their rotations and get their bench in sync for Saturday.

The starting five plus Keegan and Nunge isn't enough.

Sense of purpose as Fran once emphasized will be important.

Iowa has three guards who are young and often resemble young colts that need to be allowed to contribute.

There roles are more important depending on which opponent they are playing.

1 Connor
2 -4 Joe, CJ and Jordan
5 Garza

I suspect they will be the five starters in East Lansing.

Nice to hear CJ is feeling good out there and recently in practice.

Like the 1980 Iowa team, a Big Ten regular season title isn't in the cards. Unlike 1980 team, the 2021 parts have never won one. Hopefully, a strong team will emerge over the next 4-6 weeks to close out 2021.

But, unlike the 1980 team. Iowa can compete for the BTT title.

Beat the Spartans. Welcome back CJ.

Great to see two double-double contributors in Garza and Joe.
