Team Impressive in Interviews

I am so pleased with how the Hawks handle interviews. They are savvy, humble, articulate, and team oriented. They seem like an exceptionally mature group of athletes. Here are links to Purdue post-game interviews.

Totally agree. I think these freshman (at least Bohannon, Cook, and especially Pemsl) are very articulate and well versed in what to say and what not to say.

I notated Pemsl specifically bc that kid seems bright as hell and like a natural born leader based on how he speaks and how he goes about his business on the court. Leadership won't be an issue for the next 4 years on this squad.

Thank you. A few thoughts:

Kakert always does a good job with his part of the interviews.

Am I seeing a 1,000 mile stare type thing with these guys? Like they've seen the elephant?

Why do I keep expecting someday to hear the word, Coach, in front of some of these guys names? One maybe for sure, Coach Baer?

I agree on Pemsl but I think Jordan is the same way and I really think the team as a whole is beginning to take that lead . CW has struggled and he had a couple of bad plays and boom he looked like he turned it on and went after them and looked good doing it.
Iowa really has the makings of something special right now. IMO all they need is time and one guy to be the floor general when Jordan needs a blow. I wish Ellingson would work on his handles til his fingers bleed because he could be the perfect fit if he could handle and protect the ball good.
Moss, CW, Maishe driving, rebounding and breaking them down and a host of guys at the 3-5 that all can be productive while on the court.Di need to develop someone for Jok's spot.

I loved Fran's post game interview last night. He could not help but smile and you could see an hear how much he loves his guys. He couldn't wait to talk about Kriener.

I would have liked to see a video of the coaches coming into the locker room after that one. Has anyone seen one yet?
