Today marks an important day for all Hawkeye sports fans. How we perform in the BIG tournament will lay the foundation for what is to come in the Big Dance. After a long drought of NCAA championship tournament play (I don't count last year based on the circumstances), I do not take this day lightly.
In order to do my part I've pulled out the heavy artillery. Yes I'm talking about my Team Iowa Magic Bus t-shirt. This gem sits in my closet only to be worn on the most sacred of Hawkeye events. I absolutely do not want to delineate any of it's magical powers. Today is a day worthy of its presence.
At 1:30 p.m. cst I ask all true Hawkeye fans, no matter what you are doing, no matter where you are at, to look to the heavens above and begin chanting "Let's Go Hawks! Let's Go Hawks!" We're all in this together.
