Quick question at 157. Teemer had Fish in a Peterson for a TD for at least 6 seconds, why did the official need a neutral danger call and three swipes there to award the TD? The Peterson, control of leg and arm, should have been an automatic TD then the swipes for back, in my opinion.
Teemer should have had 3 back points.
If they were in referees position and that would have been a Peterson for a 2 pt. reversal, the 2 points would have been given right away and then back points would have been awarded.
Anyone see it different?

Agreed. Some refs just don't know the position. Had a coach (we used the granby system) that would hit refs up before duals and tourneys to make sure they could recognize that the peterson finish for what it was. Control and back points.

I also thought he should have been awarded the TD as soon as he secured the Peterson position and then should have gotten 2 or 3 back points. The ref was clearly swiping neutral danger and not near fall with the Peterson, though, so they didn't see it that way for whatever reason.
