Will be interested in this game. Cincy sh$t the bed recently in a horrendous home loss wish they would have won that one, will be interesting to see how they look/perform against a good Tenn team before our game.

I was thinking the same thing, TENN is only a -1.5 fav, odd.
Tennessee has struggled offensively at times this year. They're really good defensively, but this is not the same team we took to OT last year in the tourney.

edit: Mistakenly thought this was a neutral game. It is at Cincinnati

Kind of cool we played both these teams in the Tourney last year. That 2nd half vs Tenn, so fun and then I shut off the DVR when OT starts and call it a W, ha.

Cincy full court presses a lot and it affected Tennessee a lot. The Hawks need to be ready for the same and hopefully handle it well. Cincy also shot well vs. Tenn and was effective driving the to the basket.

This isn't a great cincy team. But they are far from a pushover. College basketball is as big a crapshoot from game to game this year as any of the recent seasons I remember.
Would be a good, tourney resuming building win if the Hawks can pull it off.

100% this, there are no dominant teams and I think it is as wide open as ever, feels like a lot of Mid Majors will be top 6 seeds and do major damage this tourney. I really hope our Hawks can be a part of that party with anything being possible if in.

Cincy looked pretty good in this game. If we hit our 3 pointers though, we should be able to beat them. They had Tenn in foul trouble early. We have to not fall into that trap.

The Bearcats definitely didn't look like a struggling team, last night vs TENN. However, playing at home and the momentum gets going, they got a nice win. That's why there needs to be a LOT of Chicagoland Hawkeyes make it up to United Center on Saturday !

Boy, I was way off. Congrats to Cincinnati, but this works out best for Iowa. It'll be another quality neutral court win on Saturday.

With this being a transition game for the Hawks (no Bohannon this season), makes this game a tougher one to win (figuring out the rotations and etc.), imo. Hopefully, the guys can find a way to pull this one out. They will need to play tough defense and rebound well.

Yep this will be a tough one..............they are almost all tough games. I'm hoping that the 9 days of practice between the last game with JBO will help us out. I'm sure all the players knew this day was coming. Guys will step up no doubt.

With finals, I doubt that they have been practicing every day....

It will be, yes, but if we win this one, March is going to be even more fun.

Wonder what the line would be with Jobo, Iowa -1.5 or so?
