Terao Crossface video from Flo

Agreed 23.

to be clear - i'm not letting us off the hook, and i will have a discussion with the flo team.

i'm just saying that there were circumstances, and that it wasn't intentional.

Do this on video, wearing a white collared shirt, and all is forgiven.

While I love it when Willie and CP come on the message boards and share some thoughts, (what other sport do you see the major media be so engaging) anyone that says there is no bias is fooling themselves. Mark Hall has gotten more coverage since he committed to PSU than any Cowboy, Buckeye or Hawkeye active wrestler actually scoring real college points this season, which is fine if the we were out of season, but we're not.
And just because they deny a bias and say things like, Gilman is one of my favorite wrestlers, does not change the facts. (just go back to the selective time frame used for the 125 and 133 historical rankings) If I make a crude sexist comment, all is not well just because i say,"It's ok, one of my best friends is a woman."
On the whole, Flo is what it is, they are the best source for College and HS wrestling out there, they also like to stick it to Iowa in small ways whenever they can, just slight enough that they can later deny it and call Iowa fans crazy, and this in turn drives their business.
Their content is 2nd to none and that's why I keep coming back every year to renew, no matter who they cheer for personally. But some feedback for Willie....On FRL, can you keep your mouth a little closer to the mic? You and CP are at different levels all broadcast. All this turning it up, turning it down....i am going to get caught at work.

I have to say me being someone who has never met any of the current Hawkeye Wrestlers and after watching Thomas Gilman's interview. I really appreciate his mentality towards his goals in Wrestling. Wrestling is war ( most of us know this ) that you Fortunately get to shake hands with your opponent at the end. My favorite General is George S. Patton Jr. Mr Thomas Gilman's interview reminds me of books I've read on Mr Patton ...

I also have no problem with the way he acted after seeing the video that he suggested Flo review and after the mistake they (flo) redeemed themselves and did post...

Interesting that this is your take, Grip, as Thomas has quite an interest in the history of war, etc. I'm sure he's quite familiar with Patton, and your observation isn't surprising, considering his interests.

I did not know this WWDM but I sure am proud to hear that . There are not enough young men and women that have interests in the American men and women that worked an fought for our Freedoms thanks...

This old timer agrees, if only General Patton was still around give him a crew of men
and with in 30 days he would clean up the whole middle east...

I know you probably didn't mean this literally, but the middle east is not an issue of which military strategy to utilize. That part of the world needs to go through a revolution of ideology before anything will be fixed. But that's for another message board. =P

YES!

i think the Berger tweet is awesome. just like i think end zone celebrations should be allowed.

it's great. it's expression. it builds drama. wrestling is the ultimate pressurized, pressure-packed sport. i have no problem with wrestlers and coaches expressing themselves passionately. who is it hurting?
i prefer the john madden approach to touchdown celebrations. act like you've been there before. :)
