When BTN shows an 'Iowa football classic', it's either the psu game from '08 or the msu game from '07. Apparently those are the only two games the Hawks have ever won worthy of being labeled a classic - at least according to btn. Their programming is beyond pathetic.

Never ever. I was 8 steps away from being one of the idiots on the field with time remaining. We noticed as we hopped onto the south part of the Iowa sideline from the student section. Greene-out in the student section. 2:30 kick = finish under the lights. 8 hour IC block party afterwards.

One of my favorite memories ever at Kinnick. Everyone always comments how cold it was for that game. I remember I was in jeans and a long sleeve t-shirt that I bought specifically for that game and I don't recall being cold. I really miss beating up on Penn State. We Own Penn State was a real thing.

The teams combined to go 7-9 in B1G, 13-12 overall.

YES. Hundreds of games to pick from and they keep shoving this one down our throats. It wasnt a great game when it happened let alone 9 years later replayed to death.

I agree for the weather. Very cold tailgating but I think it depends where you were sitting in Kinnick. We were just one section over from the students on the press box and really didn't feel the wind too much that game. Best part afterward shortly after the game was seeing JoePa drive by on a golf cart with security in the concourse being taken back to visitor locker room and hearing all the Hawks fans give him their 2 cents.

It does get old seeing Iowa vs PSU 08 or Iowa vs MSU 07 on BTN.

They do show the Insight Bowl vs Mizzou too.
